Defining Features: Maxwell definitely resembles his Border Collie roots more than his husky lineage. His body, ears, tail are that of a working collie, but his thick, fluffy fur tells of his Siberian Husky father. Max has a long, thin snout and a domed shape head. He has a mass of neck fur and it frames is neck like a mane. He is very lanky and skinny due to not getting enough food at his young age. His tail is extremely fluffy and poofy, and is always held low and submissive. He has a scar around his eye from a previous training session

Maxwell is a very sweet dog, with barely a bad bone in his body, but this comes with it's price. Whist he has a heart of gold, Max will not stand up for himself, he can be very shy when meeting new dogs and will submit very easily, even to those he outranks. He is not a good leader at all, and prefers to take a back seat when it comes to authority, and will try to agree with whoever he is talking to. Though he is always careful about the situations he puts himself in, whilst not suspicious Max tends to over think things, and usually for the worst possible outcome. 

Maxwell adores young pups. He lives for the younger generations and will devote himself to them. Though he doesn't consider himself ever having his own puppies, he will happily foster the orphaned pups. Because of this, Max can be very playful, and loves to get lost in the games he plays with pups. He much prefers the company of puppies over that of adult dogs. He is incredibly giving and will happily give up his share of food for those he cares for, and will go out of his way to give those he cares for what they desire. 

Due to his upbringing, Maxwell was always taught to have good manners, and to put others before himself. He is a bit of a gentleman, and does like the company of females over males, though only because he finds them much more gentler than males. Max is always making sure he is treating others how he would like to be treated himself. He's very gentle, and enjoys nothing more than cuddling up to another, and simply relaxing in the rare moments he gets. 

Another thing he was taught in his upbringing was loyalty. To whomever he follows, Max has an undying loyalty. Whilst he does not show it through acts of bravery like some do, he shows it through acts of kindness. Even in small gifts, or compliments, it's easy to tell who Max is faithful to, as he will stick to them and be reluctant to separate. 

Being a Nurse in the Junkyard, Max has learnt that patience is key. Whether it is teaching the puppies lessons, or picking his food ration, he has learnt that it is best to practice patience. He's learnt that it causes less problems with his fellow cousins, who he is no match for. Max can be quite the anxious dog, he is constantly worrying that he has offended another, or whether that one dog staring at him is out to get him. Max would rather roll over and give in. 

Max is also quite sensitive. His emotions are always quite up and down and he can easily take things the wrong way, but he does try to put a brave face on whilst on the inside he is hurting, and it doesn't take a lot. Anything can touch him emotionally like seeing a pup he has raised grow big and strong, to a butterfly rarely fluttering through the Junkyard. He is also very trusting, a little naive in a way. With the right persuasion and manipulation, Max will do your beckon and will. Though this could be taken as bad it is also a positive trait, once you have his trust little can be done to waver it. 

Due to joining the Junkyard at a young age, Max has become rather solemn, and can sometimes be a little pessimistic, though he tries to keep this to himself and not project it on others. He rarely speaks to anyone apart from young pups and those he is close to. He is very calm and does not exert himself very often, unless it's for those he cares for.

Pre-Group History:

Maxwell was born into a litter of four to his single mother Star. His father was killed shortly after him and his mother had mated, protecting Star and her flock from a pack of coyotes. It wasn't long after that Star found out she was pregnant with her litter.
